We are currently seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our team! You will work with our controller to make accounting entries for all dealership departments.
Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Balance cash daily
- Journal entry postings
- Balance accounting schedules
- Assist with assembling financial statements
- Assist with payroll entries
- Process F&I product cancellations
- General duties: answer phones, filing, scanning, and customer questions
​Qualifications:
- Previous accounting experience is required, automotive industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience using CDK is preferred by not required
- Strong computer skills including using excel
- Strong communication skills for assisting customers and working with team members
- Strong writing and computer skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Positive attitude and honest
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
